Brittany Murphy Dies

So shocking. Actress, Brittany Murphy has died. The cause was a cardiac arrest. It’s scary how sudden this was. I think today I’ll pull out 8 Mile, and Just Married and watch them. Condolences go out to her family, so sad..

Everyone’s favorite cartoon cat, Hello Kitty now has it’s face plastered across a jet. It would be awesome to ride on this thing. Great for pictures! I don’t really know much about the airline itself, but the plane is decked out in everything featuring the cat. Hello Kitty fans rejoice!

Baby Boy!

Probably the prettiest couple on Earth, has just had what will be the hottest, baby boy. All the girl – maybe boy, toddlers are probably just swooning at the thought. No details yet, but Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady have had their fist child, and its a boy! Congratulations.

Side note: Haha, zero views. Slowly, but surely I’m going to make something useful out of this blog. It’s basically just for me right now, but if anyone wants to read it, they sure as hell can! (hint hint..)

After these first popped up on the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2010 runway, they’ve been circulating. I’ve seen friends hooking raccoon tails onto purses, pants and even shoes. I’m not sure where I can find one of these but, if I find a place where they sell these I’m definitely going to pick one up.

It’s finally that time of the year again! Time to decorate the tree, and tune in every night to ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas. This year I’m all over the place. I want everything! No particular order.

1. Wildfox Couture Baggy Beach Jumper. It looks sooo comfy, and I can never pass up sequins.

2. ASHISH Animal Platfor Wedge from Topshop. Love these! I’m all about wedges and animal prints right now. The perfect shoe.

3. Alexander Wang Mini Duffle. Love everything about it. The leather, the studs. I’ve seen pictures of Mary-Kate Olsen carrying one, which really only makes me want it more!

I’ll stop myself before I end up posting the whole rest of what I want. I can NEVER have enough! Greedy, greedy.. Anyways, I’m really looking forward to the holidays. Spending time with family and friends is always fun, and as much as I love receiving presents, I love giving them, too. I always try and personalize the presents, and make them special for whoever I’m giving them to. Never was a big fan of gift cards. One of my favorite things ever are PostSecret books. Leave it to Karl Lagerfeld to add helmets to the Atelier Ruby 2009 fall collection. The helmets range in fabric anywhere from tweed to mink fur. There very exclusively on sale at Colette in Paris, considering there’s only been twelve made. I wonder who’s going to be the first to snag a helmet? I can see Lady Gaga sporting one for sure. They come complete with a pocket for your iPod, because who wouldn’t want to listen to music while cruising on their scooters? Especially when you can’t see the iPod. But hey, why not?

Starfucker Name Change?

One of my favorite bands Starfucker, has changed their name to Pyramiddd. Personally, I don’t really see anything unique, or special in “Pyramiddd” except maybe that it has 3 d’s in it. Name changes always cause confusion, and that’s something bands need to consider when picking their names.

I first started listening to them after I hear one of their songs on a commercial for Target. The name Starfucker likely limits them, so I guess the name change is a good thing. But really, Pyramiddd? As long as they keep on making more music, along the lines of what they’ve done before, I guess I’m still a fan.

Michael Jackson Portrait Tribute

Artist David Ilan is creating a hand-drawn portrait of Michael Jackson completely compromised of dots. The dots are only added to the drawing if people sign up on the tribute website. Signing up for a dot is free, and every person who signs up gets their own individual dot number that will be added to the drawing. The tribute is endorsed by a lot of celebrities including Jermaine Jackson, and Diana Ross.

Being the dedicated Michael Jackson fan that I am, once I heard about this I immediately signed up for a dot. I’m always up for anything that’s free, and has to do with Michael Jackson. I encourage other fans to sign up for their dots, it’ll be done at one million dots.

Louis Vuitton Cancan Pump

After a first glance, I couldn’t really decide where these stand. Part of Louis Vuitton’s Winter 2009 collection, I first saw these when pictures surfaced from Paris Fashion Week. Between the beads, the bow, and the sparkles I didn’t really know how I felt about these. Makes me wonder whether there’s more or less stability because of the heel. If paired with the right outfit, I think the cancan pump can really complete it, and add extra “oomph”. But, if paired with the wrong thing I think these can come off tacky. What do you think?
